About The Math Lab
The Math Lab is founded and operated by an experienced, certified, math teacher. We are a tutoring solution offering a wide range of customized mathematics support, both in-person and online. Our approach goes beyond improving mathematical understanding and skills – we focus on mastering foundational concepts, learning problem solving strategies, and improving numerical fluency. Kids who are less fluent in numbers and patterns must first concentrate on numerical facts, causing frustration and loss of focus before they have begun to understand the problem. Like a sport or a musical instrument, math is a performance-based subject and must be practiced in order to be mastered. Early intervention when your child begins to struggle with math can prove to be invaluable as children face an increasing STEM-based educational climate.

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management from ASU, W.P. Carey School of Business
- Experienced middle school and high school mathematics interventionist
- Remedial classes, general math, gifted students – specialize in skill building foundational mathematics
- Academic coaching, executive functioning, test taking strategies, and organizational strategies
- Co-created and operated a school-wide math intervention, credit recovery, and tutoring program at a large local high school
